SUGAR BOWL...GEORGIA vs HAWAII

What a perfect New Year's Day! My beloved GEORGIA BULLDOGS WON THE SUGAR BOWL!!! As you remember, my sister attended UGA and is a huge fan of the bulldogs...thus she completely won my dedication to them many years ago also.

Two very respected and well deserving teams met in New Orleans on New Year's Day to play one of the most anticipated bowl games. Georgia Bulldogs (11-2) and the Hawaii Warriors (12-1). I can not imagine a more beautiful city than New Orleans to host this event. It was an incredible game with non-stop action...both teams played with all their hearts, there were no losers this day, just a title to be won. Georgia WON 41-10! It was an amazing way to start the New Year! Congratulations to Coach Mark Richt and the Dawgs! Looking forward to 08!


Knowshon Moreno's 17-yard TOUCHDOWN started Georgia's taste for victory.
GA Dawg, Marcus Howard was named MOP (Most Outstanding Player) and picked up three sacks against Hawaii's quarterback, Colt Brennan.

Although many will argue that Georgia should have definitely been playing in the BCS National Championship game against Ohio State...I am proud that they won the Sugar Bowl.


Here is Mark Richt's wife, Katharyn Richt...also the Ga Dawgs water girl. All articles I've read describe her as a strong, independent, positive, kind, genuine person who is a dedicated Christian woman, a wonderful wife and an amazing mother to four. I found her story to be very interesting, as she juggles all the roles in her life. She simply looks like a sweet & fun person, someone I would be proud to be friends with.
