IN MEMORY : UGA VI

UGA VI, the well-known mascot of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, suffered a heart attack on Friday and passed away at his home here in Savannah, Ga. UGA VI was comforted by his owners, Cecelia & Frank "Sonny" Seiler and their children. Mr Seiler made a statement saying that "he suffered no pain and died peacefully". UGA VI comes from a long-line of English Bulldogs who have served as mascots for UGA. UGA VI has been the mascot since 1999 and during his reign the Dawgs enjoyed their most wins. UGA VI was 9 years old and would have turned 10 on July 22nd. A private ceremony was held today and UGA VI was buried in a marble vault in the southwest corner of Sanford Stadium with his predecessors.

This is a sad day for the Bulldog Nation...

Mocha and I wanted to pay tribute to UGA VI and all those Georgia fans who have a hole in their heart today...

Mocha's sad face...

Up in heaven...

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Seiler's family & all the other Dawg Fans.
